After a fruitless six-year war between the Kingdom of Ehas and their neighboring foes, the Kingdom of Cukda, a 20-year-old female soldier and former petty officer named Pauliana Kellenbell has been defeated and captured in a sudden attack by the army of another enemy nation, the Kingdom of Acrea. Despite her noble birthright being stripped away by her family’s decision to send her to war, Pauliana had been striving to survive in a male-dominated society. However, her efforts were ultimately in vain as she faced discrimination as a woman in the all-male army of Ehas.
