Dororo to Hyakkimaru-Den

During Japan’s Warring States period, Daigo Kagemitsu, a servant of a Samurai general, makes a deal with 48 devils to offer them 48 body parts of his unborn child in exchange for complete control of the country. When his son is born, Daigo orders him to be thrown into a river, hoping he will die. However, a kind sage rescues the baby and raises him as his own, providing him with prosthetics. As the boy, now named Hyakkimaru, grows up, he sets out to defeat the devils and retrieve his missing body parts. Along the way, he meets a young thief named Dororo, and together they journey across the countryside, facing various monsters and ghosts.
